Our ultimate ambition is to provide mass testing to allow that workplaces, schools, sports resorts, cultural centers and businesses (like restaurants, cafés and nightclubs) can remain safe places for all citizens without needing to worry about catching a potentially deadly disease.
While developing in first instance technology that enables cost-effective easy-to-use testing strategies for viral infections, our vision is to create wider impact at the scientific, economic and societal level
Scientific
PCR-4-ALL technology is conceptualized to easily adapt to future pandemics for responding rapidly and effectively to health emergencies in order to prevent and manage communicable diseases and epidemics.
Furthermore, the technology is adaptable to non-communicable disease population screening.
Economic
Real time surveillance testing will minimize the spreading of pandemic viruses, affecting economy on two levels:
(1) maintenance of a critical workforce and
(2) preventing government-imposed lock-downs with dire economic consequences.
Societal
Reducing the health burden to society by early identification of infected citizens and, therefore, limiting the scale of a future pandemic.
As such, citizens will be empowered to take decisions in real time and prevent transmission to their social environment.
