Introducing Our Project Partner: University of Verona

We’re proud to highlight the University of Verona as a valued partner in the PCR4ALL project. Known for its strong foundation in economics, management, and statistics, the university plays a key role in bridging public health strategies with economic insights. Their commitment to research excellence and international collaboration makes them an essential asset to the project.
📊 Focus Area: Economic Viability of Mass Testing
The University of Verona leads the cost analysis work package, evaluating both direct and indirect health costs associated with mass testing in pandemic scenarios. Using an epidemiological model developed by the Helmholtz Research Centre, their work is instrumental in determining whether mass testing strategies—like widespread PCR testing—are not only medically effective but also economically sustainable.
🌍 With this collaboration, PCR4ALL continues to build a holistic foundation for better preparedness and smarter decisions in global health crises.
