🥈 Breaking the Wall of Pandemic Paralysis: PCR-4-ALL Takes 2nd Place at Falling Walls Lab Leuven!

We are incredibly proud to announce that Gregor Fritz (Biomimetics KU Leuven) has secured second place at the prestigious Falling Walls Lab Leuven science pitching contest.

In a high-stakes, three-minute presentation, Gregor challenged the global status quo of pandemic management.

🧱 The Problem: Logistical Failure

At PCR-4-ALL, we believe that lockdowns should not be an inevitable policy response to a virus. Instead, they are often a sign of logistical failure. Our current reliance on slow, manual laboratory processes makes it nearly impossible to identify and track a virus in real-time.

⚡ The Solution: Surgical Precision

Gregor’s pitch, “Breaking the Wall of Pandemic Paralysis,” showcased how we are rethinking the entire testing pipeline:

• High-Speed Robotics: By integrating advanced automation with digital PCR (ddPCR), we aim to process up to 100,000 saliva tests per day in a single facility.

• Targeted Response: Our goal is a 10% daily testing target for entire populations.

• Keep the World Open: Instead of “blunt instrument” lockdowns, this technology allows for a surgical precision approach—identifying the virus, isolating the sick, and keeping society functioning.
